What is the time commitment for the live edition?

We have kept groups small and intimate to ensure that all students can contribute to the live group discussions.

Nine consecutive weeks involve 9, interactive 1.5-hour sessions over Zoom that will educate and guide healthcare professionals on psychedelic medicine. A final project will conclude the course in Week 9.

Upon finishing the course, participants will receive a Navigating Psychedelics certificate of course completion. (Note this course is for educational purposes. Psychedelics Today does not train therapists to facilitate psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.)

Meet Your Lead Facilitators

  • Jasmine Virdi (she/her) is a writer, educator, poet, activist, and harm reduction practitioner based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Her writing centers on psychedelics, spirituality, and deep ecology and has been featured in DoubleBlind Magazine, Open Democracy, Psychedelics Today, Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines, Psychedelic Press, Synthesis Institute and Lucid News. Jasmine has an MSc in Transpersonal Psychology and offers private coaching and mentorship to clients. She is an advocate for decolonizing healing practices, and integrates earth-based wisdom, trauma-informed, and somatic approaches into her work.

    Since 2018, she has collaborated with the independent publisher Synergetic Press, where her passions for ethnobotany, consciousness, and regeneration converge. Additionally, she volunteers for Fireside Project’s psychedelic peer-support line, aligned with their mission to provide compassionate, accessible, and culturally responsive support to all. Often breaking away into the wilderness, Jasmine can be found wherever there are birds singing. You can follow her work and find out about her offerings here.

  • Diego was born in Bogota, Colombia and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Canberra and a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University in Palo Alto, California. Since 2017 he has been involved in the psychedelic field and has worked in various organisations in Australia and the US. He is currently an instructor and coordinator for Psychedelic's Today 12-month training Vital and is helping to develop the curriculum for Psilocybin services facilitators in Vital Oregon. Aside from the psychedelic space, Diego worked in Community Mental Health for five years. He enjoys martial arts, swimming and meditation, and he is very passionate about Somatic and Transpersonal approaches to psychotherapy.

  • David Drapkin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Psychotherapist, based in Israel. At the age of 21 David’s near death electrocution experience resulted in a profound change in life direction, away from his BA in Economics and career dreams to be a stock broker to many years spent backpacking, spiritual seeking and disappearing into nature and solitude. Since then, David has received two MA degrees in Social Work and accumulated over 15 yrs in front-line clinical, supervisory, managerial and directorship healthcare roles. David has worked for three separate hospital based behavioral health departments, and was previously also the clinical director of an outpatient addiction clinic. David is a psychodynamic psychotherapist with psychoanalytic training from the William Alanson White Institute of NYC. His private practice has been open since 2017.David's encounters with non-ordinary states of consciousness go back to his teenage years. From raves and wilderness psilocybin journeys to solo fasting meditation retreats in India, Israel and New Zealand. David is particularly interested in the intersections between transpersonal states of consciousness and Kabbalah. In 2021 David joined Psychedelics Today, and is currently the Director of Education & Training.

  • Emma Knighton, is a white, queer, able-bodied femme with lineage rooted in Celtic Druidry. She is a somatic trauma therapist, psychedelic integration therapist, psychedelic educator, and conscious organizer and leader. In their clinical work, Emma works at the intersection of complex PTSD from childhood abuse, queer identity development, and consciousness exploration. Her clinical and leadership approach is grounded in queer, consent, feminist, and anti-oppression/pro-liberation theories. Emma teaches courses on integrating trauma-attuned consent practices into psychedelic-assisted therapy and strives to be in service to the psychedelic space with integrated mind, body, spirit, and community. Emma does organizing work in the psychedelic ecosystem around equity, access, and integrating liberation practices and the spirit of the medicine into organizational strategy and operations. A lifelong learner, Emma is in sacred relationship with their ancestors, tree elders, plant teachers, and the collective consciousness.

  • Dr. Ido Cohen, Psy.D serves individuals, couples and groups in San Francisco. He received his Psy.D from the California Institute of integral studies and trained at the Jung Institute In San Francisco. He works with a diverse range of challenges childhood trauma, inner critic, relational issues, lack of fulfillment, psychospiritual growth as well as psychedelic integration and preparation sessions with individuals and groups. His doctoral study researched the integration process of Ayahuasca ceremonies, while applying Jungian psychology to better understand how to support individuals in their process of change and transformation. He is the founder of “The Integration Circle” and facilitates workshops on the different dimensions of integration and the intersection of mental health, spiritual health and the entheogenic experience. Ido is passionate in supporting individuals to create long term, sustainable change leading to vibrant, authentic, expressive and love filled lives. In his free time he likes to find new paths in nature, marvel at art, his community and his dog Luna.

  • Victor Alfonso Cabral, LSW, is an Afro-Latinx sacred activist dedicated to serving historically excluded communities. He serves as the Assistant Director of Community Care at the Naropa Center for Psychedelic Studies where he focuses on recruiting practitioners from diverse backgrounds, facilitating trainee affinity groups and apprenticeships, and utilizing his policy development expertise to help guide the Center through evolving state-specific regulatory landscapes. His varied career includes contributions to policy development, training and education, academic research and community outreach and mental health. He is a licensed social worker and therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with training in MDMA/Ketamine and Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems.



  • In 2016, Kyle Buller and Joe Moore co-founded Psychedelics Today, one of the world’s leading psychedelic media and education companies. Kyle's interest in exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness began at the age of 16 when he suffered a traumatic snowboarding accident. After this near-death experience, Kyle’s life changed dramatically. Kyle subsequently earned his B.A. in Transpersonal Psychology from Burlington College, where he focused on studying the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness by exploring shamanism, Reiki, local medicinal plants and plant medicine, Holotropic Breathwork, and psychedelic psychotherapy. Kyle has been studying Dreamshadow Transpersonal breathwork with Lenny and Elizabeth since October 2010.

    Kyle earned his M.S. in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in somatic psychology from Prescott College. Kyle’s clinical background in mental health consists of working with at-risk teenagers in crisis and with individuals experiencing an early episode of psychosis and providing counseling to undergraduate/graduate students in a university setting. Kyle also has experience offering psychotherapy services specializing in psychedelic integration, spiritual emergence, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

  • Attorney licensed in California, Colorado, and Texas, specializing in psychedelics policy reform and highly regulated natural compounds. Partner at Feldman Legal Advisors PLLC.

  • Juliana Mulligan is a psychotherapist who is formerly opioid dependent, formerly incarcerated, and has been a working member of the ibogaine treatment community for eleven years. In 2011, with the help of ibogaine treatment, Juliana left opioids behind and set off on a path to transform the way drug users and their treatment is approached. She has a Masters in Social Work from NYU, was the Psychedelic Program Coordinator at the Center for Optimal Living for three years, and was recently a consultant for the Kentucky Ibogaine Initiative. She runs Inner Vision Ibogaine, which supports people in preparation and integration around ibogaine treatment and offers consulting services. She has worked in multiple ibogaine clinics, presented at various psychedelic and harm reduction conferences, and is the author of the Guide to Finding a Safe Ibogaine Clinic and co-author of Fireside’s Warning Signs When Selecting a Psychedelic Facilitator. She has taught about ibogaine at Charite University in Berlin and Southwestern College in New Mexico and has written for multiple publications about ibogaine, including Double Blind Magazine and Chacruna. Most recently, her focus on abuse and ethics in the ibogaine treatment space has led to her survivor advocacy and client support work.
